Step by step
- Open Google Maps or Apple Maps.
- Tap the search bar and type a place, such as “library” or a ZIP code.
- Tap a result to see opening hours, phone number and photos.
- The blue dot shows where you are now.
Common mistakes
- Searching with location services switched off; turn them on in Settings.
